First post of the month, I'm slacking. I used to update this thing numerous times a day, now I just have nothing to talk about! I'm busy at the moment though, working on many websites - trying to update the 1000(ish) pages of Forfeit The Game, whilst trying to build a new website, and keep all the others going steadily. Bit of a pain but I'm sure I can do it. Haha. Meaning I'm going to squeeze it all in at 5 o'clock in the morning on the day it's supposed to launch. Ah well, it'll be fun-yet-stressful. If your interested in my sites check out FTG.co.uk, i'm keeping it up to date with all the stuff i'm doing.
Got the day off Monday, looking forward to that - going to be a really short week, as we have our bowling trip for work on Friday. Then just one more week and I'm freeeee until the new year! Yay!
I've never been a fan of Jake Gyllenhaal, and I've never had the urge to watch Donnie Darko, despite the cult following that it has garnered over the years. Today, however, I rented it out from Blockbuster, and watched it this evening whilst my computer threw a hissy-fit. I liked it. Which is weird, because I didn't think I would.
If not leaving me a little bewildered, the film was very well directed and produced, and had a great set of actors in it. I don't think it's a movie i'd watch much though, if at all again. I think it would ruin the movie to watch it more than once.
On a side note, I went to the doctors, and as a result I've been taking anti-inflamatories for the past few days. They seem to work to an extent, but not really enough. My computer is also knackered. It keeps resetting itself and disconnecting from the internet. And yes I've run a virus scan.
So yeah, I'm late on posting (very busy weekend), but it actually snowed on Friday. Really heavily too. I looked like a snowman about 20 seconds after leaving my house. It's been a few years since I have seen it snow this heavily. It snowed a little on Christmas Day last year, but we don't usually get snow until January/February. 'Tis great. I took some pictures of the snow - me and tash also made a snowman and snowdog respectively and had a big snow-fight. Which was cold. Dur.
Got another long weekend starting the 10th, can't wait! Bowling for the Christmas do should be a laugh as well. I suck at bowling. Yay!
I don't know why, I just haven't had much to talk about. Today is really not a good day to work, I really can't be bothered. My jaw is killing me - I have this thing because I'm apparently stressed that I grind my teeth in my sleep, this makes excess fluids flow into the joint on the right of my jaw, this makes my jaw all clicky and horrible. It also goes all weird and locks into place where the fluids go weird, so I can't open my jaw properly - the problem now though, is that me jaw has 'locked' into place and I can't 'unlock' it - meaning I can't eat properly... or yawn. It's extreamly painful, though i've been told it's harmless.
I need to go to the doctors. :o(
I've had about 3 hours sleep tonight because of a weird pain in my stomache. It's a cross between a really tight stomache cramp and a really sharp piercing pain - and one of the most painful things I've ever experienced to be honest. The worst part is that I have no idea what caused it... I was up until at least 3am trying to get somewhat comfortable in bed. The fact that the room was freezing didn't help at all. I slept 3-4ish, then 5-7ish... Luckily I got a bit of sleep after aswell, at about 9am.
It's still here a little bit - the thing is that it doesn't make me feel sick at all, it's just a pain, so I can eat and drink fine, I can walk around fine, I just can't stand that pain. Think of someone trying to pull out your intestines through your belly-button. Nice, 'ey?
I have had a KFC 7 times this month. I'm so pathetic. At the beginning of the month I decided I was going to try and cut down on having junk food yet I seem to have sped up. I'm useless. My aim is to not have KFC/McDonalds etc for the rest of this month at least... Ah, it's so not going to happen...
Dates. I Always Remember Dates.
I have a bad habit of remembering really weird dates. I can't remember times that well, but I know when stuff happened: June 1 2004; I started work experience at WNW. December 6; Officially employed at WNW. October 27 2005; Officially finished my Modern Apprenticeship. August 4 2005; Gave up drinking. June 2 2005; Started going out with Tash. August 23 2003; Started FTG. April 14 2005: started FortMinor.co.uk. the list goes on and on... It's a really freaky thing. I have a terrible memory, except when it comes to dates and numbers!
We watched White Noise last night. It has an actor that I'm supposed to recognise but don't; Michael Keaton (He played Beetlejuice and Batman, still don't recognise him though!). It's a really well directed and produced film overall, just the right cuts just at the right time, the camera's are well worked and give it just the right feel.
Though I'm not a fan of thrillers in the slightest, this one actually made me jump a couple of times, which is an advancement from sending me to sleep like other thrillers have in the past (*cough* 28 Days Later; Saw *cough*) - I was actually intregued to watch the whole thing and it actually interested me. Definately worth a rent.
My Fort Minor website, fortminor.co.uk is now averaging at around the 2650 visits per day mark. All I have to say to this is wow. It took me nearly 2 years to get Forfeit The Game to those sort of visit standards, so to get this one to them in just over 8 months is great. Looking at the stats the website just shot up in October, I don't understand it!
I'm not gonna complain, but with an average of 9451 page views a day, this is slowly overtaking Forfeit The Game. I'm not too sure if that's a good or a bad thing!
I just ate a whole 200g bag of doritos and half a Hot Salsa dip.
I think I'm gonna throw up.
I haven't had a headache for months, now I've had 3 or 4 in the last few weeks. It's strange. I think it's to do with the weather and the fact that it's getting dark earlier. I spend most of the afternoon at work squinting at the screen, which can't help anything. I may have to start wearing my glasses again.
My hair is now getting uncontrollably long. If I leave it too long without 'grooming' it it tries to middle part itself, it's funny but rather scary at the same time. I think it's definitely going to need a trim some time soon. I may leave it 'til nearer Christmas though. I think it looks better this length than it does really short. It still looks best when it's bright red though!
'Corpse Bride' is good, went to see it on Sunday. It's very musical, which is something I have been told will have been expectant if I had seen 'Nightmare Before Christmas' before. The songs are funny though, and the voices are quite funny sometimes. It has a plethora of great actors as well. Tim Burton is great, his humor is really childish, which makes it so funny. I'd definitely recommend it.
As a side note, I just redesigned and revamped the Forfeit The Game Network website. I'm quite proud of this one. The "About Us" page came out exactly as I intended it to, which is a rarity for me. Heh!
Incase you'd been living under a rock for the past 6 weeks you will probably know that Saw 2 comes out in cinema's today. Although that may not ring so true as Saw 2 adverts were banned for being too 'violent'. Haha, dumbasses. I'm not looking forward to this, but I know a lot of people are. Let me know if it's as terribly predictable and boring as the first yes?
