Wednesday. Day 3/7. Drinking night. Bloody hot day. Don't make much sense do I? Hmm. Oh well. So it's Wednesday the 13th and it's a fecking hot day, I've just walked to KFC for lunch and have a cold can of Fanta waiting in the fridge when I finish this post. I also have a cold chicken baguette. Bloody marvelous. Haha, that sounds so typically English, and so sarcastic, even though it's not.
I'm in love with php at the moment, so many fantastic things can be done with the scripts we are coming up with at work. Phil has made one which automatically generates the navigation and spiderlinks to whatever they read on the shop index page. This may not seem much to those who use php regularly, but we are doing this all on page, with no databases or external references at all. Which rules. Period.
Off to drink my Fanta then I think.
...than Mondays. To be bluntly honest - I'm bored to rivets. I'm absolutely shattered from going out drinking last night (though admittedly that is self-inflicted) - I now have no money to last the week, and to help it all - I have no work to do besides sitting going through products adding a brand name to them. Shoot me now.
The second game is now available - the one and only "Miniputt". It doesn't get more classic than this one. Can you score a hole in one on every hole? Trust me, it can be done. I have also added "Miniputt 2", for when you get even more bored - not as good as a whole, but still a pretty good attempt.
I don't know where the idea re-appeared from, but I really have the urge to play MarioKart64 on the Nintendo 64. And WWF No Mercy. Classic games. So now I want a Nintendo 64 again. It's been years since I've played on one - or any console for that matter. The X-Box and PlayStation2 are great and all, but they still can't match up to the classicness of Nintendo. Haha.
I'm not going to rest until I buy I Nintendo64 now. Be warned.
Don't you just love them? Monday's aren't the most exciting day of the week. This morning I get to sit and add wetsuits to the new shop I'm building, almost done with all the Kangaroo Poo stuff. Yay. Not that you care of course, you just want me to add games and amusing links to keep you occupied. Well, ok.
First game is "Crimson Room" in which you have to escape from - surprisingly - a crimson coloured room, by picking up objects and solving puzzles.
Share Your Views, At My Brand New Forums
So I've got a Forum up and running to keep Will happy (Haha), just click the link at the top, or head over to mb.crewdy.co.uk. I will get a site searching facility available soon to, as well as some of the pages hopefully. Anywho, Google managed to get a hold of the website in it's index. No idea how that happened, I haven't posted the website link anywhere! Maybe it's something to with Blogger? Hmm.
So the London Underground has been closed due to explosions on the track. Wow. And I find out by a text message saying "london just got fucked"... Hey, I don't pay attention to the news. I'm not entirely, I dunno the word, I won't say "I'm not bothered" because it's hard not to be, I guess I'm "not affected." Never been a fan of the London Underground anyway, too dangerous, too crouded, too complicated. Give me a bus any day. Thankfully I know nobody in London, so I am as relieved of worry as I can be.
It's 11am and I haven't really done any work at all today. Oops. Not my fault though, I have to wait for websites to upload, and I have nothing to do in the meantime, so I spend the rest of the time reading the news and looking up information to help me in building websites in the future. And who says I'm not resourceful, ey?
I haven't even worked on this website. Been blogging a little, that's it. And I have to do things for a teapot website that we run. The joy. Ah well, I only have to handle the membership site of it thankfully, though I do get to put content in occasionally. The wonders of the teapot. I know more about them that I probably should.
Reports on the London Bombings
So, surprisingly, I've been keeping a close eye on what's been going on today. It's not very often I feel affected by things like this, but this time I do for some reason. Maybe because it's closer to home this time. I've been watching the BBC's ongoing reports for most of the day. From what I hear there has been 45 confirmed fatalities, and hundreds of casualties.
So I'm still sitting at work (God help me - It's my lunch break) and they are about to announce which city have won the Olympics 2012 bid. I couldn't particularly care less who wins to be perfectly honest, but I thought I'd post about it anyway. Everyone seems excited about it though. Yay for them. It's a bit of a boring wait. Some woman is singing and the guys on the radio won't shut up. Oh well. Ah, its ended. Thank God. And the winner is...
...London! Yay. Or something?
So It's 10 O'Clock In The Morning...
...and I am sitting here bored out of my skull, staring at my online shop building software contemplating doing some work. (I'm having a 5-minute 'wake-the-hell-up' break to be honest). Currently adding Kangaroo Poo products into it. Some nice T-Shirts though. "Born To Be Wild" is currently spinning on Dave's computer (my 'theme song' apparently), and the office is relatively quiet and mellow this morning. I'm absolutely knackered tho.
Tonight I will spend adding the rest of the content to this website, and I'll probably add more links and possibly some games too during the day. That's assuming that a certain someone isnt coming back tonight as originally planned. Heh. Messageboard will be up too, just to please Will. Mailing list too...lol! No seriously, I'm debating it :')
Ah well, should get back to work, so I should leave you with a random link of some form to tide you over. All 1 of you who currently knows about this site. Haha. So anyway, check out Yetisports, addicting game featuring a Yeti and lots of Penguins. Always fun.
Still Feeling Like Complete Crap
So I'm still at work (surprise, surprise), might see if I can head off a bit early though. I've been feeling really shitty these last few days, I'm not entirely sure why. I really need a cigarette, but I'm not going to buy any. Promised I wouldn't. Ugh, that was a mistake. What can I do to keep myself occupied long enough not to make myself feel shitty? I don't want to get into the sort of state where I will do something stupid.
Doing repeating tasks isn't the most fun thing in the world, and really doesn't improve my situation much. I sent a text 2 hours ago and it still hasn't gotten through, that doesn't help either as I type this it has just been delivered. Now I probably have to wait a few hours to get one back, won't that be fun. No. Something(/one?) is missing.
I need something else to do. I can't stand doing what I'm doing for much longer. Hence why this is my third post today. Why do you like reading about my life anyway? I bet you'll find out a lot of stuff that you never knew about me before. The sort of stuff I don't talk about, but like to blog about. Usually I wouldn't post the sort of stuff I do, but I'm in the company of friends on this site, and I feel I can. Maybe I'll try to split it up more. Hmm. Thinking is bad. I'm gonna stop now.
Welcome to the Wonderful World of Crewdy
Hello there. Welcome to the site. This site. About me. Crewdy. Who am I? Well, that shall forever remain a mystery. Even to myself. So. Welcome to the Wonderful World of Crewdy. Hate, Mysery and Depression for all the family! Hmm... Lots of sentences.
So for this paragraph I will make sure not to use more than one sentance, I will fill it with complete gibberish instead, not actually related to the website, or this post in any way, shape or form physically conceivable by the human mind.
Anyway, why are you here again? You tell me, that's why I put a comment form on. I will most likely fill this website with random stuff, fun stuff, useless junk and games, so check back if you really get the overwhelming urge to. Which you won't. I guarantee it.
This is usually the part where I'd say "use the navigation for all you need", but, well, it doesn't work yet. So I won't. I'll get around to it soon. Those bars on the left and right can be opened and closed as you want, and they stay like that whenever you visit. Clever, eh? The layout you choose will store in your cookies too. Nifty. As well as that, the content in those little side bars is constantly changing, as is the banner at the top. I have no idea who those pictures are by though. For even more fun, hover over the white titles for a random bit of text. Or what the hell the box is about to be more accurate.
