The Blade Trilogy

Over the last week I have managed to watch the whole of the Blade trilogy... I enjoyed watching the first 2 film's. They were raw, and inexpensive. They looked like they were made on a low budget, and that's what was great about them.
Blade Trinity however, was a mockery... An overly high-budget film, in which Marvel had way too much say. Trinity seemed too polished, and made it look like they were trying much too hard to make a sequel, when they shouldn't have needed to. The idea of bringing "Dracula" in to the film, was, well...tacky, and the unneeded use of course language didn't fit with the film or the characters in it. Ryan Reynolds put in a good performance as "Hannibal King", with clever wit which managed to make me chuckle a lot. Having a wrestler in the movie, and continuing to make some fight scenes a wrestling match was cheesy at best however, and mostly painful to watch.
From what I've read, Snipes was against Trinity, and it's understadable why. Cheap humour is ok in pieces, but when trying to intersperce it too much in to what should be a serious sequal to two serious films, it just doesn't work. The jokes are rigid, and most of the acting is also, the plotline was wishy-washy and scarse. After watching Trinity, I really wished I had left it to the two parts previous to satisfy.
