My Favourite Track Ever

For a while now I've been trying to come up with a list of my 5 favourite songs of all time. It's damn hard. At least the last 4 are. One track stands out as my top track of all time, it always has, and probably will do for many years to come. Despite having one of the nasal and raspy voices in the music business, Billy Corgan does this song the justice it needs. The song, of course is "Tonight, Tonight" by the fabulous Smashing Pumpkins.
It's very rare that you find a song that you can listen to over and over again without getting tired of it, a song that you can listen to at any time and still be able to smile to it and relate to it. The lyrics have many meanings and Billy is his usual perplexing self. No wonder he released a poetry book. The video makes this song all that muc better - filmed in the style of an early 20th century 'short film', the video looks like a bunch of cardboard cutouts. It is though, a fantastic piece of artistic direction, and a fabulous video to watch.
And if you were wondering my four other tracks right now are:
Robbie Williams' "Angels"
Foo Fighters' "Breakout"
Muse's "Citizen Erased"
Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody"
