Another Day, Another Drinking Session

I absolutely love going out for St. Paddy's Day, it's always one of the best days of the year for drinking, the atmosphere is just brilliant. I'm a bit worried of it being a Monday, which are generally rubbish in Exmouth, but I think it'll be alright. I'm gonna get nice and pissed anyway!

I've got most of my photos online now, haven't had the internet all weekend though so it's been a bit hard to do it (plus the fact that the photos are on my computer about 60 miles away. hmm.). Hopefully I'll have those done by the end of the week.

I haven't done much this week. Looking forward to the long weekend and going out tonight obviously, went out Saturday which was alright, I'm running out of money though which ain't good. Ah well.

Updating All My Photos

Hopefully by tonight I will have finished uploading all the photos I have. I found about 200 or so more that I didn't know I had on my computer and I now have 2169 photos listed in my 'Pictures' folder. Woohoo. Thats about 1200 more than I thought I had in there. Haha.

So yeah, tons of photos that I expect a lot of you haven't seen before which is cool. I'm going to make sure I take my camera with me pretty much wherever I go now. I used to use it all the time but now I just generally forget, and I miss out on so many cool photo opportunities. Nostalgia, I think.

I was looking over the pics and realised how much I miss everybody being in Exmouth. We had some fantastic nights out and I think the pictures speak for themselves. So go have a look in the gallery and see what you find. And leave me some comments, I always like reading comments.

That's it for now, I can't be bothered to post more right now, so I'll do it tomorrow when I have more energy.

A Bigger Update for the Week

It's been a week since I last updated, so I thought I'd better put a post up. This week I have been suffering a lot for the commute to Exmouth from Plymouth every day, though I don't know why. Just something about this week; I really haven't wanted to get up in the morning for some reason. I have been though, just a bit more of a struggle than usual.

We went to see Be Kind Rewind on Monday, which I really enjoyed; and Jumper on Tuesday, which despite the bad reviews I thought was really good. Given the choice I would much rather see Jumper again than I would Be Kind Rewind, and we were talking about Jumper for ages afterwards which we didn't do with the other.

People seem to be taking Jumper to seriously though, which is one of the reasons so many people hate it; if you go in looking for a ground breaking movie you won't like it but it's great if you fancy an hour and a half of fun. Plus the special effects are pretty awesome and the fight scenes are great.

The weather is terrible today; all raining and dark, I don't like it. Makes the whole office seen a bit more miserable than usual.

Might Need a Title For This One

I don't have all that much to say today. Torchwood is on in a minute then Reaper afterwards so I'll be lying around watching that and being lazy. I like being lazy.

I'm reading Tom Holt again at the moment; I just read "Paint Your Dragon" and I'm in the middle of "Open Sesame" at the moment, which is about Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. Tom Holt's stuff is really great if not completely random. Very imaginative though; must get some more of his books once I'm done with this.

I had a song in my head for ages today, then I had Grace Kelly by Mika for ages. Hmm, very odd.

Working Days, and Great Films

The weekend was good, I got quite a bit done. I've got the backend gallery for Crewdy.co.uk up, just have to upload all my pictures now and it's done. I also managed to get a demo of Eyes on Exmouth up and running which I'm really happy about because I want to soft launch the website by the end of the month/ middle of next month is possible, which will be good. Good to get another website out in the open. Haha.

I watched American Psycho on Saturday, and it was really... strange to say the least. One of the weirdest films I've seen in a long time. Christian Bale is absolutely fantastic as always and is well suited to playing somebody who is completely mad.

We also watched The Illusionist which I want to see again sometime soon. Very different to what the Prestige was about despite te fact they are always pitted against each other. I think I prefer the Prestige, but I'd happily watch either again.

And finally... The Sting. Can't believe I'd never seen it before, but it was brilliant. Exactly my type of movie and great to see where the inspiration for Hustle came from (ad that one of the episodes was a modern-day version of the Sting itself). Definitely got to but it soon.

Night in Plymouth

Me and TJ went out in Plymouth last night, and it was interesting to say the least. We got back about 3 in the morning after wandering around Ride and Cuba for about 2 hours. We also played some pool in the Mutley Plain and in Boomerangs, which was fun.

I don't remeber exactly what we drunk to be honest, we had a load before going out then just had whatever was cheap from then on in, haha. I know I only spend £35 betweek us though which is pretty good fr a night in Plymouth. I felt alright this morning as well which is always a good sign.

Today I will be mostly building the gallery section of Crewdy.co.uk and getting started on Eyes on Exmouth (which will use mostly the same script anyway, haha. Fun.

Lunch Break Update #1

So I had this great idea that I should start updating at lunch times now rather than trying to do it at night. Stroke of genius I know. I don't do much for lunch so it gives me something to do at least. Ha. It's a bit miserable out today; not raining or anything, just a bit... boring, and dull looking. No sun, a bit of wind and it's a bit nippy out but oh well.

I'm going to try and get the gallery back up tonight 'cos I want to put all my new photos up soon and I don't want to put everything on facebook. lol. Think I'm going out for a bit as well, which I'm sure will be fun. As long as it's not like the other night; that wasn't so fun (and the first time I've thrown up from alcohol in a long time (and I'd only had 3 drinks (not good I know (I've got nothing to put here, I was just having fun adding more brackets really)))).

Hmm, well my roll has gone a bit iffy since I didn't eat it yesterday so I think I'm going to go an get a cheap sandwich from somewhere and get away from the computer for a bit, which I'm sure is a good thing.

Random thought: Why is it that a dog gets angry when you blow in its face, but will stick its head out of a car window at speed to feel the breeze? Spooky.

Over and out.

Yay, So, New Website and All That Jazz

Again. Haha. TJ designed the logo, which I think is cool. I'll create the rest of the website at some point. I'm trying to set my priorities straight and get certain websites up and running before working on my other, less important ones. I need to do it though because I seem to have tons of half-finished websites which isn't a good thing.

So, what's been happening...

I've been working as always. I've not been feeling too bad with the commute from Plymouth every day, I think it's just a matter of getting my times right and working out just how much sleep I need (which I think is 5 hours + sleeping on the bus. lol). It's kinda fun though, I have time to read things on the bus on the way back to Plymouth and I'm gonna try to get some more books out son so I can start learning new stuff which will be fun.

We went to Paignton Zoo on Saturday which was great fun. I haven't been there in ages and we got to see almost everything this time, there was just a few areas that weren't open. I'll put pictures up soon as well; I got some really good ones of the baby Rhino and the Giraffe and Gorillas etc. They all came out pretty well this time.

Monday we went bowling as well which I always love. We played 18 games in 5 hours (50p each, ha), and won 9 of them each. Tash got a Turkey (3 strikes in a row) which I'm still bitter about. lol. I've never managed it before and I swear the lanes are against me, ha ha. Whenever I'm about to get a third strike I end up with 9 or something, it's evil.

Ok, I have nothing else to talk about so I'm going to leave it at that for now. Au revoir and all that jazz.

I don't care where I'm going...

...as long as it's nice when I get there.

Check out Edward Monkton, he rocks harder than the stone in your back yard.

A Resoundingly Interesting Few Days...

Yeah, ok, so obviously not. Haha. I have got a lot done though. The Pub Quiz website at work is coming along fantastically, I'm really far ahead of schedule and I'm getting it done really quickly. Probably because I'm really looking forward to using the website myself though, which is always an incentive.

As for my stuff, the LP FunBox is all but finished bar inputting some content to get it started. I'm gonna do that over the course of the week and hopefully get it running by next Monday, which'll be great 'cos I've been working on it for so long it'll be fantastic to see people using it finally.

Besides that, I'm going to Plymouth tomorrow and will be doing nothing up there instead, haha. I'm sure laziness is a hobby.

I'm getting the hang of this

The whole "updating" thing that is. The reminders are working pretty well, except for when I'm deep in my work. Ha. Which is now actually. I'm working on an in line chat room for the LP FunBox Facebook application, which is coming on quite well. Not the nicest coding I've ever written, but it gets the job done, at least for now.

Last few days have been working as usual... watching the new Heroes which was awesome, only one left though; I'm rather sad about that. I've started building a bit quiz site at work which I'm doing all the coding for; that's gonna be fantastic fun. Hmm, I think that's it for now. Yes, it is.

Today was... Blah

I can't think of any other way to describe it really. The weather has been horrible, it's been dark, I've had a slight lingering headache and I've felt knackered since I woke up. I got up at 9:30 this morning and didn't get anything to eat until gone 4pm, which definitely didn't help. Carrying a really heavy bag a mile back from Tesco's probably didn't either.

That's all I've done today. Really. I went to Tesco's and got work done, though it's coming along nicely. I'm not gonna have the Internet for much longer today though as the people I'm living with need to use it after 8:30 (to get names + artwork for CD's, which seems a bit odd, but meh). Oh well, that's all I have to say today, unless something really exciting happens within the next few hours I think I'm just gonna go back to bed and hibernate until tomorrow morning.
